The West
Texas Paralegal Association (“WTPA”) was organized on October 8,
1983. WTPA was formed primarily as a means of legal
education for legal assistants as well as a means to
publicize the fact that there are paralegals in West
Texas who are serious about their profession.
WTPA is an association dedicated to establishing good
fellowship among Association members, NALA and members of
the paralegal community; to encourage a high order of
ethical and professional attainment; to further education
among members of the profession; to cooperate with bar
associations; and to support and carry out the programs,
purposes, aims and goals of NALA.
